Barth Hendrix bio
Born in 1977 and raised in the suburbs of Amsterdam. After winning a mixing contest ín the legendary club “the waakzaamheid” at an age of 17, Barth’s passion for dance music started. A few years later he launched his own Thursday club night in the Escape Venue in Amsterdam. And occasionally a special party on Fridays, where he even invited Tiesto to play! In this cosmopolitan city playing every week for al sorts of people he developed his own unique style. Not shortly after Barth was asked to join Ministry of Sound in the Netherlands, and became their resident for two years.

Discovering Ibiza and influenced by tribal music, ”The underground sound is still present in most of my mixes. Music must have a Soul but I play a variety of quality House music, so any mix of nasty-, funky-, tribal-, Deep-, Tech-, Electro-, Progressive-, and Dirty Groovy House music……..……..as long as it dance floor minded”.

Even without any production or compilation mix cd on his name he already played around the world. Barth Hendrix nowadays is resident for the Dutch Dance organisation Extrema.
After finishing his study Building Engineering beginning 2004, he can now focus more and more on dj-ing for a living. With more time to have the possibility to going oversees and exploring all continents. Already the South-Africans and the Egyptians loving his unique house sound.

To give house music a deeper meaning, a natural step for him is producing music now.

Tom middleton, Gene Farris, Harrison Crump, Ryan Dent, Nathan Coles, Robert Owens, Satoshi Tomiie, Danny Howells, Ian Pooley, Josh Wink, Eric de Man, Benny Rodrigues, David Alvarado, Tiesto, Rocky&Diesel, Koenie, Marcello, Lee Burridge….. to name a few!
