Karri Ojanen started his career as an electronic musician and deejay in 1992, after first producing music with a friend of his on a pair of Commodore Amigas. Since then he has performed at numerous clubs and parties in cities around the world including Detroit, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, Stockholm, Vilnius, Budapest, Tallinn, Riga, Buffalo, Kitchener, Kyoto, Offenbach, Erfurt and St. Petersburg. Over the past decade his love of techno and electronica has led him in many directions, including event promoting and vinyl vending.

In 1996-97 Karri ran a record store called Monorecords in Tampere, some 170 kilometres north of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The store was the first and, at the time, almost only source of electronic music and DJ equipment in the city.

Karri has also organised numerous one-off parties and clubnights in Finland over the years, and now runs an audiovisual label called Abflug.
