Dj Hansz was born 10 years ago playing HipHop / Funk / Disco & other kinds of Urban Black dance-music.
Gradually he shifted his style towards House & Techno, although he still likes to play the other genres under his real name (..).
In 1994 he became one the residents of the (almost now) legendary "Planet Rose"- nights at Doornroosje in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. This is the place that rocks most in The Netherlands with it's high quality-level dj's, coming from all over the world.
It’s here where his dj-ing developed into a style that should appeal to most people, spinning a slammin' mixture of funky House & Techno.

1999 saw the release of his first 12" on Laidback Luke's recordlabel "Subspace".
From that moment he made 2 records for Michel de Heij's label "CC-records".
It was in the year 2000 when Highland Beats-label owner Jan Liefhebber asked dj Hansz for some trax for his new label "Body Art Form".
Dj Hansz gave him some trax and in November the "Loop ep" was released. This 12"has been given a lot of positive feedback and will be followed by forthcoming (funky) releases.
