For StoneBridge, whose productions and remixes have made him a well established household name all over the world, these are exciting times: His DJ’ing takes him all over the world from to London to New York to Moscow, the remixes are hitting the targets (Lee Cabrera - Move A Little Closer (Shake It) UK Top 20, Enrique Iglesias Escape, #1 Billboard Club Play and worldwide hit) and there are no signs of stopping any time soon. His newly established and close relation with UK’s favorite compilation outfit Hed Kandi, has opened new avenues with an artist album scheduled for release in early 2004 and appearances on the company’s many branded club nights including the recently voted No 1 night of Ibiza 2003 at El Divino. StoneBridge also runs his own Stoney Boy Music label based in New York with a constant string of funky peak hour tracks lined up for release.

StoneBridge had his first DJ'ing experience in 1983 at his sister's graduation party. Soon afterwards this was followed her friends' parties and StoneBridge found DJ'ing a consuming passion. He started his own night named Fellini in his home town of Stockholm every Saturday, where the music specialized in funk and disco.

Other DJs on the Stockholm circuit frequented the club and soon there were talks of a collaboration for a DJ remixing service (similar to the UK's DMC) and in 1986 StoneBridge, alongside four other DJ's including Denniz Pop and JJ established SweMix. By 1989 the reputation of SweMix had spread throughout Europe and StoneBridge began international remixing for artists such as De La Soul, Rebel MC and Titiyo. His first UK club hit was his own Jazzy John's Freestyle Dub in 1990 followed by Ann Consuelo's See The Day on Champion 1992 which together with his mix of Rebel MC The Wickedest Sound marked StoneBridge's break in the UK.

In Sweden the newly formed SweMix label had already signed the likes of DaYeene and an African DJ/dentist Dr Alban, who the following year secured huge worldwide hits with Hello Afrika and No Coke. SweMix also began holding their own night's at the legendary Ritz club in Stockholm where tracks were tested and artists recognized. From here StoneBridge's musical direction was beginning to evolve more around dance music than the labels actual output and in 1993, the label was sold to BMG and renamed Cheiron.

In the same year StoneBridge moved on to become a major force in clubland remixing Robin S Show Me Love, which subsequently became a Top 5 hit in both the UK and US. A wave of other successful remixes followed including Robin S Love For Love, Sound Factory Understand This Groove, Rozalla I Love Music. Chrissie Ward Right & Exact, INDO R U Sleepin and Hannah Jones No One Can Love You. As a producer, StoneBridge created House of Virginism There For You which became another UK hit, Shawn Christopher Make My Love and Sabrina Johnston Satisfy My Love to mention a few.

Between 1994 and 1996, StoneBridge continued remixing over 200 projects. The BTB label was started through Champion and in Sweden he began co-running the Clubvision label in Stockholm with hits like Donna Giles And I'm Telling You, Diva Convention Never Leave You Lonely and Stabbbs Joy & Happiness.

After years of remixing, StoneBridge reinvented himself as a DJ and Producer. In 1997 he began a manic DJ tour across the US and Europe and started up New York based label Stoney Boy Music, which presented a more club-based sound and reflected in his following productions; Radical Playaz The Hook, Nightvision Ready For The Weekend and StoneBridge All Nite Long. StoneBridge also continued to produce a wide variety of artists spanning from Tatyana Ali & Will Smith's UK No.3 hit single, Boy You Knock Me Out, which he also co-wrote, to productions of Stand In Love and Never Been Kissed for dance diva Kristine W.

In 2000, due to more regular appearances as a DJ and growing support for his remixes and productions, StoneBridge launched the UK based StoneBridge Recordings with Big Bass What You Do that crossed over with StoneBridge's Playing With Stones remix followed by StoneBridge presents DaYeene I Like and Mixmaster featuring Isabel Fructuoso Latin Session (Así-Así). He also scored a European club smash with the remix of Melanie C I Turn To You and an Ibiza hit with the collaboration known as Coco & StoneBridge The Beach and StoneBridge vs Twin Calling. StoneBridge also launched a weekly mixshow in Sweden followed by residencies in leading UK house clubs, Bed (Sheffield) and Faith (Hull) and the year was nicely rounded off by entering the DJ Magazine DJ Top 100, voted best DJ in Sweden and scoring a UK Club chart No.1 with his remix of Texas Inner Smile.

The following years StoneBridge was busy with remixes of Texas I Don't Want A Lover, Dario G Say What's On Your Mind, Roxette Center of The Heart, Punk Chic DJ Spinning and Soulvation Flying Into Love as well as extensive touring as a DJ, still having time left for more collaborations with Chris Coco in the guise of Clubbers International I Love Clubbers that was signed to Tommy Boy. He climbed to a #78 position on DJ Top 100, and was nominated best DJ in Sweden in 2002 and worked a steady stream of remixes like Enrique Iglesias Escape, Japanese superstar Seiko All To You, Blak Beatnik's One Day and appraised mixes of Milky In My Mind, Simple Minds Spaceface and his own Sometimes.

StoneBridge recently finished his first artist album Can't Get Enough for Hed Kandi that will be released in 2004 and contains collaborations with Ultra Naté, Rita Campbell, Kenny Thomas, Eric Kupper, Chris Coco, Isabel Fructuoso, Axwell, Bonnie Bailey, Julie Morrison, Sergio Flores, DaYeene to mention a few. The first single, Put 'Em High features Swedish superstar Therese and is currently climbing Coolcuts and the DMC Club Cahrts in the UK. His remix of Lee Cabrera 'Shake It' has been one of the big records in Ibiza 2003 and more recently Pearn & Campbell Reach is doing the business. Forthcoming mixes of Soul Providers Pressure and Big Bang Theory Haven't Been Funked Enough are ready to drop during the winter holidays. On the Stoney Boy label recent releases like Axwell Lead Guitar (featured on DJ Gee's Bora Bora compilation), Mike Balance House Meanies, Whipped Creem production Burn and Brown Sneakers Siente El Vibe have all caused a stir in clubs all over the world. Next up are Fierce & Coppola Make Me Love You and Christian Alvarez Intergalactic Voyager both with StoneBridge Mixes
