Hardcell

Hardcell aka Nils Danielsson, came in contact with electronic music in the early 90's and within short time he discovered techno and the underground rave scene. Inspired by the trax he heard and the spirit of techno parties, making music himself became the only natural progression. After getting his hands on a couple of turntables, Hardcell was soon to be a frequent act at underground parties in Stockholm and around the rest of Sweden. The main theme in his work, as well in the studio as by the decks, has been and still is, the search for that indescribable feeling that is ‘techno’. The Hardcell interpretation is dark, deep and mechanic with a driving percussion programming that often turns tribal. The monotony is essential to grant every DJ a flexible tool, as well as hypnotizing the exhausted crowd.

Having put out most of his work within Diode Music and mainly on the Skunkworks project, Hardcell is now widening his spectre to include releases and remixes for a number of international top labels. He recently started a project for melodic tech-house collisions under the name of Nils Danielsson. Also, the numerous co-producions with Johan Bacto has led to the Devil’s Choice project, supplying floors all over with dark cuts and deep workouts.
Swedish Techno producer Nils Danielson, aka Hardcell, has released records under the moniker Mhonocell, when joined by Mhonolink, and also along side Johan Bacto, Peter Grindvik, and Hertz. Hardcell's records on Bacto's Skunkworks comprise the majority of the label's catalog.
