As owner of the Trancentral record store and the Eye on the Future party organisation in Haarlem, Alexander Koning has become a prominent figure on the Dutch techno scene. A firm fixture on the European party circuit, he holds residencies at events including Eye on the Future, Patronaat, Focus, the Foundation X beach parties and plays once a month in Budapest, Hungary. He also performs at the annual Dance Valley festival in Amsterdam, and is out and about rocking crowds somewhere on the continent each weekend.

Alexander also runs his own Bassethound label, which has now reached fifteen releases, has collaborated with artists including Hungarian-based Andy Slate and Sweden's Mikeal Jonasson and has contributed to the back catalogues of labels such as Pitch, Babe, Equal and Zync. His records have been known to be played by some of the biggest names around, including Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Ben Sims, Joel Mull, Seb Fontaine, Oliver Lieb and Ariel. Alexander's first release on Bellboy is the excellently funky tech-house of 'Outer Limits', displaying a bouncy, percussive sound that is at once easily accessible, highly credible and deeply irresistible.
