Starting with a classical 303 606 909 setup in 1993 connections to other artists and labels from the Cologne and the Ruhr area in Germany quickly brought me to a totally different line of electronic music. Likewise an adoration for the tunes from Detroit and Berlin was contributing to my point of view. After graduating from highschool and with high believe in the development of electronic music I started a label with a friend from Düsseldorf where we published three releases. The third release in 1996 was my first release which touched more the hard and rough Detroit/Berlin sound than really being minimal. In 1996 my friend and me met Maral Salmassi and we stopped our first label which was a bit too distinct from what we were about to do. So we founded Konsequent Records. After releases of "The Advent", "Angel Alanis", "Fanon Flowers" and "Christian Morgenstern" (†) we were more into the consequent and hard bouncing stuff and finally after release number 7 in 1999 I quit with the label to concentrate more on my studies in Graphic Design and on my own music productions. After meeting the guys from Formic in Cologne in 1997 I changed my ideas of music and focused more on sound exploration and minimal patterns and released the "Leisetreters Fingerspiele Teil 1" on Alpha Records (Number 3) in Cologne. In this time Fanon Flowers from Detroit visited Germany and for sure we hooked up. This not only ended up in a fantastic friendship, it also produced the first Cetron release, a label run by Fanon Flowers who also runs the label "Mechanisms Industries". Further visits and track exchanges resulted in even more releases on Cetron under the pseudonym "H & R". After moving to Australia for study reasons in 2001 and being dependent on just a laptop I had the time to focus on my own music skills and soundscapes which led me into the music I am producing now. As I am deaf on one ear since I am six years old and consequently not being able to have any influences on stereo effects in my tracks or around me I focused on the basics of what sounds, melodies and track patterns have to sound like to make my flesh creep. In 2002 I had to put back my productions to finish my Graphic Design studies. 2003 I moved to Hamburg in the north of Germany together with my girlfriend to challenge the city which is ment to be the gateway to the world.
