Robin & Jeroen met each other in pre-school when they were 3 years old. 14 years later, they became interested in house music when they heard it being played at a local radio station in The Hague.
While living in The Hague, and while out clubbing like most kids do, they soon heard DJ Remy play. Their interest in this very special sound was born. Bas, a close friend of Robin, and Jeroen's twin brother, introduced them to mixing and soon they started buying vinyl too.

Around 1998 they decided that producing their own music would be even more fun, so they bought their first set of production equipment.

While out clubbing, they had seen Pako and Frederik perform live in a club in The Hague. Robin and Jeroen knew then they wanted to be on stage performing their own music. Two years later they had their debut release as Fitalic (maybe you'll remember it: 'Daytripper / Unbalanced') with Bas creating the name.

The Hague could now add another name to its list of producers. The Hague Line-Up: Sander Kleinenberg, DJ Remy, Pako & Frederik, Roland Klinkenberg.

Fitalic see productions by DJ Remy, Marco Carola, Pako & Frederik, Joel Mull as influential. They have had six 12” releases under the Fitalic banner, and now have upcoming releases on Bedrock (UK) and Sumsonic(UK).

Their tracks have been played by DJ Remy, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, John Digweed, Kasey Taylor, Chris Fortier, and Jerry Bonham.Just to name a few.

In the summer of 2002 the guys began to perform as a live-show.
