Snowbombing is the ultimate week-long winter holiday bringing together hoards of skiers, boarders and party people and serving up a world class line up of music together with an international ’slopestyle’ competition. Since its conception in 2000, it has taken over the best ski resorts in Europe and thrown the biggest parties on the piste together with breathtaking displays from the worlds most extreme boarders and skiers. The resort offers a leg wobbling 620 km of piste, served by 177 lifts. Never failing to deliver, bringing in more than 40 pro - riders from every corner of the globe to risk life and limb to the backdrop of a live stage hosting top DJs and live acts, for the coveted trophy of SB Slopestyle 05.
Continuing to re-define the term, “après ski”- Snowbombing has thrown some of the best parties on Snow in the last 5 years and that’s set to get better with a network of hosted bars, spontaneous street performance, projections & displays…as the whole town is transformed into one h-u-g-e end-of-season festival. This year will feature a mix of live music and DJs, with purpose built stages and a headline performance on the mountain situated 6000 feet high, amidst the Burton board park, overlooking the valley. Artists already confirmed include DJ Yoda, Mylo Live, Norman Jay, Stereo MCs (DJ set), Mr Thing and First Rate….Watch this space as over the next few weeks they’ll be announcing some massive headline artists. This year they’ve reached further afield to Holland, Germany and Austria … bringing together the adrenaline generation from Amsterdam to Aberdeen & Manchester to Munich… in short: pan European pandemonium!
